Simple Pleasure of the Day: Cult Classics

What Mandy Thinks: "Simple Pleasure of the Day" post
The radio industry may be dying a slow painful death currently, but it has its moments where I wish to keep it alive.  Today's SPOTD is cult classics due to a random listen to a Monty Python skit of "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" during a morning DJ skit.

Cult classics are the best kind of classics because:

- It brings back memories of time gone by.

- Classics will always be timeless.  They're classics for a reason; tons of people liked it so it's only fair to assume that others through time will like it as well.

- They bring people together.  Sure I may have been alone in a car whistling along to a Monty Python song not caring how others around me in traffic judged me, but in non-independent-commuter ways it bring a collective group of people together with similar interests of awesome stuff such as Monty Python.

Good thing I'm getting my own Netflix account soon.  I feel a Monty Python marathon coming on...
