SPOTD: Little kitty footsteps

My Simple Pleasure of the Day is the sound of my cat waking across my new apartment's hardwood floors.  His little kitty footstep sounds are new to me since my last apartment was all carpeted, and they leave me giggling when I hear the tiny pitter patters in the dark.

It's probably good to be able to hear my cat walk around because:

- He's a brat.  Whenever he wants attention he'll make noise.  Now I can anticipate the brattiness before it happens instead of just hear something wabble or get knocked over or just SMASH.

- He's in a new place that he can't stop investigating.  Besides the SMASHing for attention, he also SMASHes by trying to fit his fluffy fatness into every possible space he can and cannot fit into which causes things to fall over and/or break.  There have been a few knick-knack casualties in my move and Jimmy is mostly to blame.

- The little pitter-patter is just so CUTE ahh!  That's all.
