Simple Pleasure of the Day: To the rescue!

Due to a combination of laziness and alarm clock silence, I was late to work today.  My normal morning is now walking or biking to the office a mile away, but driving was a smidge faster if you include finding a parking spot downtown.  Turns out... my car decides to die on me when I get back in my car after work.  I'm so happy to have my SPOTD: Coworkers to the rescue!

Tag-team coworker rescuing is fantastic when you're in dyer situations like:

UPDATE: The bug was towed the next morning and fixed :)

- Your car decides to not start and these coworkers both have cars AND fancy gadgets that determine if it's your car battery's fault or another mysterious fault to be determined in the morning AND they offer a ride home even though you're only a mile away.

- The apartment you just moved in has almost everything wrong with it so maintenance appointments cause lateness that should not be so acceptable but your coworkers completely understand.

- A project needs to start over Christmas but good thing everybody's available via email regardless.

All three of these have happened to me within the past month and I cannot thank the awesome BumeBox team enough for putting up with EVERYTHING that seems to go wrong lately in my strange little life.  Let's hope 2013 has the least amount of goings-wrong than the last year.
