Before getting a cat, I would be able to make my bed without any interruptions in the process. Now I have a kitty that decided blankets are always places to hide, especially when they're being placed one by one onto a big squishy rectangle. When each blanket is stripped off, that's Jimmy's cue to jump up and wait for the blankets to be tossed on him one by one when I ask "Where's Jimmy?!" in a SPOTD
kitty hide-and-seek. He only moves and makes noise when I speak but freezes in place until each blanket is back in its place. Then he bolts out like he's been lost for DAYS.
Animal playtime such as hide-and-seek can:
 |
"You found me!" |
|
- Distract from the constant kitty nags of food time which he thinks is 20 hours of the 24 hour day.
- Increase fulfillment in our human-pet relationship. A playful pet is a happy pet.
- AND WILL cause me to love my kitty more and more forevers and evers as any crazy cat lady can attest to.
My cat likes to sneak under the fitted sheet when I make the bed, and then gets stuck...
