My SPOTD is in thanks to a handy dandy GPS feature in my phone who I named Ginny. She is the voice of the GPS audio that told me how to hop around the south bay for some much needed thrifting. She helped me to not get lost, steering me to my destinations without a hitch (a hitch being my clumsy driving ability to turn the wrong direction in a fork or taking the wrong light that will get me 20 minutes more lost than I already was because directions are about as easy for me as understanding science). So thank you Ginny and all the people who made the app and Ginny possible because the rockin' new pair of pants I was able to get might not have been findable.
Knowing where you're going (or trusting in an automated GPS voice to know where you're going) can:
- Avoid stress in getting lost or redirected or navigated somewhere you haven't been before.
- Save you time from all the extra redirecting you'd need to get back on track.
- Wear down your phone's battery life. The poor thing had to chug through all the GPS following and navigating where the screen was rarely off. It's resting now, it had a long day.
