SPOTD: Filters

What Mandy Thinks: "Simple Pleasure of the Day" post
As a Web Design major, I know how tedious but very important coding filters are when it comes to online events where users can post anything they want to a live stream.  Your reputation can be tarnished by somebody spouting out something inappropriate and you didn't catch it in time.  That's why filters are my Simple Pleasure of the Day because at work today one of our clients had one of our streaming services that would have been riddled with profanity, conspiracy theories, and poop jokes for NO REASON if it weren't for our awesome employees who caught every single stupid post immediately.

Failure to filter out inappropriate content can tarnish your reputation through:

- Slowed or stopped sales of your products / services.

- A reason to bad-mouth through word-of-mouth.

- General disapproval from your current and maybe now-former fans, clientele, and supporters.

A lesson to you all: make your hashtags as specific as possible or they can be taken advantage of and/or used for the wrong reasons.
