SPOTD: It's lighter at night.

What Mandy Thinks: "Simple Pleasure of the Day" post
Daylight savings of "springing forward" happened this week, but I hadn't noticed much.  My usual schedule is being up after the sun has risen and heading home from work right before the sun starts to set.  My Simple Pleasure of the Day is leaving later than usual from work and finally noticing it's lighter at night til 8ish.

Longer daylight brings back memories like:

- Playing a whiffle-ball kids version of baseball with my sister as kids in our huge backyard back in Wyoming.  The darkening light would signal bedtime was imminent but we'd play until we couldn't see over second base or when our mom would yell us in.

- The feeling of summer.  The Bay Area has stolen some seasonal feelings from me since there's basically no seasons in SF.  Since my move towards the South Bay, I'm hoping I can get that summer feeling back with hotter days and 0 fog.  It's only March but the few days we've had over 70 degrees have been heavenly.

- Summer vacation.  Late days feel like late summer days which feel like late school-free summer days and also late work-free summer days.  Days like these are a reason why I'm visiting NV soon for a mini vacay (where I'm still on-call for work if they need me but I'll be away from home so mini vacay it is).
