SPOTD: Professional employees

What Mandy Thinks: "Simple Pleasure of the Day" post
My poor car has been one-eyed for a few weeks now.  My assumption is that it would cost an arm and a leg to replace the headlight, but my local car service place that I normally go to also offers headlight changing as a service for cheap (literally FREE if you buy the bulb at an auto parts store for like 8 bucks).  The repair place closest to my house attempted to open my light but couldn't get the level unjammed.  They told me to go to another place a block away, and they were also unsuccessful.  FINALLY at the third place, some professional employees were able to pop the lever and give my car the gift of sight back as my Simple Pleasure of the Day.  Third time's a charm with these experienced guys.

It should not have to take three trips to fix a headlight, because:

- Headlights are apparently not that hard to replace, according to the installer who did what nobody else could and open the dang light.

- Headlights should be easy to unlatch from the car.  There was sand or gravel or something that got caught in the path of the lever, which the two other places neglected to notice and sited their inexperience as the cause for their incompetence.

- Having professional out-of-the-box thinkers as auto repair dudes will limit your trip potential to just one when done right.  AND IT WAS FREE (but 8 bucks for the bulb which is STILL closer to free than what I expected)!
