Simple Pleasure of the Day: "It's on sale!"

One particular fantastic online retailer of fantastic things has a BOGO event on certain apparel.  I have several gift-excuse days coming up including four birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, AND my sister's wedding all before September.  This SPOTD excuse of "It's on sale!" caused me to purchase gifts for almost all of my seven upcoming occasions within minutes.

Online shopping is wonderful when:

- You have friends and family with particular styles and preferences.  Some people are super easy to shop for.  Others make you work for something that deserves a surprised reaction.

- You're too lazy to get your butt out of the house to do shopping.  Living in rural areas negates the lazy factor, but since I live in area that is figuratively surrounded by every store you can think of I partake in such laziness.

- Gift cards aren't enough.  I like to steer clear of gift cards when I can do some internet research on a unique gift to give them out of thought rather than letting them decide for me with the restriction on that card.
