Simple Pleasure of the Day: Matching socks

Laundry day is also "look for the missing sock's pair" day, but today was a rare exception.  My SPOTD is doing a load of laundry having all the socks match together when I'm putting them away.

I wonder where these lost socks go.  Maybe...

- All dryers have a mysterious hole that opens up in various dryers across the globe when the Magic Sock Monster is hungry.

- There's a special sock magnet that hides in laundry rooms and a Sock Bandit comes in every night to collect the loot from this special magnet he invented for such criminal mischief.

- The socks run away themselves because they are tired of their other half nagging them all the time for whatever socks nag about to a place called... Socklandia?
