SPOTD: Slow ride

This week has decided to begin with the heat I've been begging to receive.  My Simple Pleasure of the Day is taking advantage of the warmth by taking a slow ride home.  I rode my bike grandma slow to soak up as much sun as possible while still keeping my wheels turning.  There was also a chance that I was hearing the song "Slow Ride" in my head the whole way home.  Only a chance. :)

The summer-like heat of the week will encourage me to also:

- Take a slow walk.  My Walking Wednesday will be at a snail's pace in an attempt to get my first sunburn in years.

- Open the sunroof and roll down all the windows in the car.  This will only happen if I actually drive anywhere during the heat, but there's a good chance of this happening.

- Decrease the amount of blankets and amount of clothing I sleep in.  Even if the nights are the same temperature as they are all year, my body's gonna want to skimpy it up to keep the summer feeling throughout the night.  Hello thin blankets and tiny PJ shirt, you are welcome as long as you like.
