SPOTD: Surprise Company BBQ!

When I was told there would be a mandatory meeting today at noon, I knew either something has gone horribly wrong or there was a surprise in store.  The only meetings scheduled are on Mondays, so this Thursday lunch meeting screamed "surprise lunch fun time" and that's what it was!  My Simple Pleasure of the Day is my awesome company throwing a surprise company BBQ in the park.

This BBQ lead me to:

- Lessened productivity.  Some of us went home after the extended lunch, others stayed at the office not really doing much.

- Way too many calories.  Burgers, macaroni salad, cupcakes, oh boy.  All I had planned for lunch was bland cereal!

- Believe this is one more thing that makes this the best job ever.  "Hey guys, a BBQ for no reason let's go!"  Um, yes please?
