Simple Pleasure of the Day: Cake Icing

What Mandy Thinks: "Simple Pleasure of the Day" post
For no reason whatsoever (besides the fact that I wanted to drive my new car somewhere for the sake of driving somewhere out of sheer boredom and I had extra cash), I found myself at a grocery store on Sunday strolling through the isles in search of nothing in particular.  That's when I got to the baking isle.  What I ended up purchasing was not fully savored until today, so my SPOTD is a HEAPING tablespoon of chocolate flavored cake icing.  Calories be damned!

What a wonderful invention icing is.  I enjoy icing on all kinds of things including:

- A spoon.  Eating icing out of the jar it came in could be a binge out of boredom or a depressed-enduced sugar numbing.  Today's was just boredom since icing of any sort is something I haven't seen in my pantry in a VERY... LONG... TIME.

- On cake.  Duh.

- Over grain items like crackers or bread.  As soon as I saw a cream cheese company selling spreads of chocolate flavors of all sorts, that's when the light bulb flickered over my head.  What about icing on crackers? I thought to myself in partial disgust and curiosity.  This combination, my friends, is both horrible and delicious all at the same time.  It just depends on which kind of cracker or bread you get.  The blander the better (or sourdough is an exception from my personal experience).
