Simple Pleasure of the Day: Completing a new look!

New seasons are great excuses for involving new things in your life like a new look!  For me, I was inspired by summer to chop off almost all my hair (it's still in a bag waiting to be donated), dye it lighter (it's more "golden" brown now thanks to box dye and hair lightening sprays), and finally get a pair of new glasses.  My SPOTD is completing my new look with these unique glasses (see pic below).

I'm loving these new glasses for all their fancyness including:

Check 'em out!

- The colors!  The "blonde turtle" tan-ish color matches my hair perfectly and the lavender really pops.  Everything in my world at this moment needs to be lavender so of course my glasses had to be, too.

- The shape of the frames!  I've had the half-framed thin look for over five years now so it's definitely time to change it up.  I was looking for something thicker and showed off my "fun" side as much as possible.  Having these unique frames gives me a look that nobody else has, so plus for that!

- The fancy lenses!  I've wanted Transitions ever since they came out.  Darkening automatically in sunlight to help with glare?  Yes please!  Especially since I'm out of that God-forsaken Fog City for the land of the SUN!  These lenses will come in handy for sure.
