Five total hours of driving, sunscreen-clogged pores, and sawdust filled my day to experience the yearly
Tuolumne Lumberjack Jubilee. The sun was brutal against my vampire-white skin (I was literally told I look like a vampire... thanks?), so
laying in the shade on a blanket while watching logging events and playing card games was enjoyable away from the baking rays of the sun that would have turned me into a lobster. It was my Simple Pleasure of the Day.
Leisurely shady tree time is one of my favorite summer activities including:
- Leisurely laying on a beach time.
- Leisurely munching on ice cream sandwiches time.
- Leisurely staying indoors in front of a fan time (which could involve ice cream sandwiches as well).
