Happy 4th, one and all! My still-fairly-new-to-me residence in Palo Alto has me witnessing little traditions I can now be part of, including American flags lining University Avenue downtown. Soaking up the patriotism and love for my country and new city has me grateful for what I have and where I am as my Simple Pleasure of the Day.
