One of my friends is taking me on as a project when it comes to my level of nerd (non-existent in a group of nerdy friends) and my love life (since being single and not having dated a "nerd" before is somehow a problem all of a sudden). I am NOT exactly happy about this no matter her positive intentions. Once the guys in our group got a hold of this info, their first words were basically "Let her be Mandy, why does she need to change?" and "What's wrong with her as is?" Having my guy friends stick up for me
